Who am I?
My journey into magic began at a very young age. To further refine my skills, I joined the GOA (Society of Magicians Amsterdam), where I trained under some of the most accomplished professionals in Dutch magic. As a member, I’ve had the privilege of regularly connecting with a wide range of performers — illusionists, presenters, actors, singers, and ventriloquists, to name a few.
Berry Merlin
My development accelerated when I became a demonstrator at Magic Studio Merlin. Alongside my mentor and inspiration, Berry Merlin, I performed at trade fairs and assisted with his lectures, learning the art of engagement and showmanship up close.
Commercial Communication
I pursued a degree in Commercial Communication(HBO). Today, I seamlessly incorporate brand messages and slogans into performances, creating unique, business-savvy magic tailored to your company.
Magic clubs and organizations
I’m affiliated with several magic clubs and organizations, including GOA, Goochelclub Rotterdam (GCR), and the NMU (Dutch Magical Union) — the largest federation of magicians in the Netherlands. For six years, I taught in the GOA Junior Division, where upcoming talents were guided and shaped by myself, Rob Zwaan, and Cees Faber.
Magic in Haarlem
I also spent several rewarding years as a resident demonstrator at the Magicshop in Haarlem, where I showcased, advised, and trained customers on the tricks they purchased.
Abroad
My commitment to growth takes me to magic conventions across the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, and the USA — ensuring I stay on the cutting edge of the magical arts, bringing you only the very best.
Media and App
I’ve made television appearances, including on the children’s program Woensdag Wonderdag (Wonder Wednesday) by Zeppelin.
I also developed a magic app for the Apple iPhone titled Guess the Dice.
60 years of NMU
In response to a request from the NMU, I produced a promotional DVD celebrating the organization’s 60th anniversary in 2011, offering a glimpse into the richness of several fun to do magic effects.
Magic school
Starting in 2012, I’ve also been performing as Professor Magic Maurice, sparking excitement for physics, chemistry, and technology among elementary school children. Through wacky experiments and interactive demonstrations, I help make science come alive — all in support of a national initiative to promote STEM education.

Close-up Magic
Magic up close leaves the biggest impression. With a short, astonishing act, I move from table to table, performing mini-shows that last only a few minutes — but create unforgettable moments.

Family Magic Show
A magical celebration for all ages! This interactive show is packed with laughter, amazement, and cheerful chaos — where things seem to go hilariously wrong… until the children jump in to save the day. With their help, the magic is brought to life, leaving the audience laughing and wide-eyed with wonder.
The show also features vibrant balloon creations, adding an extra splash of colour and fun to the performance. Perfect for both small gatherings and large audiences, this family-friendly show guarantees smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
A stage is helpful, but not essential. The performance lasts approximately 45 minutes.
